Creating a website ministry is never a solitary venture. Others have come alongside me to encourage, make suggestions, pray and offer their expertise. While I frequently followed their advice in the look, feel and content of the site, any design shortcomings or content errors are strictly my own.

I would like to thank Brian Ehline and Peter Kobe at www.equippingkids.com for their encouragement to pursue the dream of this website. They have served me well in meeting the curriculum needs of my church. I invite you to check out their website  next time you need to purchase curriculum or Bibles. Not only are they good businessmen, they are good friends.

I would also like to thank Brian  Oakes of www.christianhouse.com for providing web and email hosting and technical expertise. Brian, you have been a great friend and mentor over the years.

Many thanks to smash, seekHm1st, Tink and Corky, just a few of my IRC friends who reviewed the site and gave helpful suggestions. Also, seekHm1st, you have been a faithful reader and  encourager. Corky, what can I say? You brighten up my day even in the darkest hours and you make awesome cookies. Tink? You are a gem, forks and all. You better take one of your forks and poke seekHm1st big time to keep him humble. smash, got snails?

A very special thanks goes to Marge Prince, SIM Missionary to South Africa and friend of many years, for encouraging me to add an international component to this website and for specific helpful suggestions to make the site more inviting cross-culturally.

Thank you to Mel Sattler, Northwest Regional Christian Education Consultant for Standard Publishing, for encouraging me to have a special emphasis on the personal growth of children's ministry leaders.

To Dr. Anthony Casurellla (former New Testament Professor at George Fox Evangelical Seminary, deceased) for being my mentor and my friend during the years of my MA and for giving me the tools to write effectively within the discipline of New Testament biblical scholarship. I wish I could take you out in that 95 Mustang convertible coupe  and try for 0-60 again. Your expression was priceless, gentleman that you are.

To Dr. Robert Radcliffe (former Educational Ministry professor at Western Seminary, retired)  for being my mentor and friend through the years of my MDiv to the present and for giving me permission to be myself, to express my offbeat humor through my writing, and for modeling graceful living even in hardship.

To my pastor, Rev. Phil Newell, for being a friend and mentor over the years, plus a  model of excellence in consulting with churches.

To the kids, parents and fellow workers at Portland Open Bible Church, I love you dearly and appreciate how you refine me and encourage me. It has been over ten years and we are just getting started.

To my parents and family, I love you guys. Mom, somewhere out there the kids you influenced in the projects of Watts still remember those flannel graph lessons. And each time they do, they think to themselves, "The Bible lady is coming! The Bible lady is coming! Dad, the people you dealt with as a police officer on the streets of Newberg  will never forget how you treated them with fairness and respect. Mom and Dad, your marriage is 50+ years strong. Thank you for your example.
